New Jerusalem has been presented, and now John is shown the River of Life and the Tree of Life. These images, as well as the full scene that surrounds the Throne of God and of the Lamb, demonstrate the fullness of life in Jesus alone. Jesus is life, and apart from Him there is no life. He is the center of everything now and forever.
